Blogging is truly a red hot area at the moment and one that I’m just getting into.  OnlineIncome4Idiots is my first blog and it’s going to be interesting for me to see how much traffic I get.  In addition to creating a helpful resource for all idiots with an interest in making money online, this particular idiot (me!) is very interested to see how much traffic this site draws.  The make money online niche is one of the most highly competitive arenas (and normally a niche that I stay well clear of) so if this site generates lots of natural organic traffic then this will be a very valuable learning experience for me.  I’ll tell you how much traffic I get once this site has been up and running for a few months.  I’ll add a post in the “General Category.”  So keep a look out!

Intital conclusions.  This course is absolutely brilliant!  Suitable for all idiots!  Honestly, if you want to learn about how to make money blogging then you just have to join this course.  I’m aiming to write a full review a bit later on (I’m only on month 1 at the moment).  However, the entire onlineincome4idiots website was set up using what I have learnt from month one of this course and nothing else.   I’m mega impressed – seriously!  As I’ve said in other posts I knew nothing about blogging or Wordpress before purchasing this course.  BUY IT!  And one of the great things about this course is that the lady that wrote it (Amy Bass) actually makes here full time income by doing nothing but blogging.  And she’s a stay at home Mom!  It’s a great and refreshing change from many make money online products where so called gurus teach you how to make money online, when they don’t know really know how to sell anything other than make money online products!  Good on you Amy!

The whole idea behind blogging is content.  Keep adding fresh, relevant content to your blog and search engines will love you.  Well that’s what I’m hoping anyway.  I’m more experienced with PPC marketing myself but at times it feels like running the gauntlet as it’s possible to lose an absolute fortune as well as make a fortune.  Free traffic would be great – it’s not something that I’m used to!

It doesn’t matter what you write about in your blog.  You can write about travel, food, electronics, cars, gadgets, pets, sports – literally anything that you can think of.  What you will then want to do is find ways of monetising your blog like adding affiliate links and so on and so forth.

If your starting out I would recommend using Wordpress to design your blog (that’s what I’ve used for this site) – it’s FREE.  Installation of Wordpress can be a little demanding if your not technically minded.  However, if you join a host like HostNine (CLICK HERE) it couldn’t be easier – a 1 click install and your done!  If your a bit of a nerd a looking for something a bit more powerful then consider a full content management system like Drupal (something else that I’m teaching myself at the moment) – tough to learn but quite incredible what you can do with it.  Once again, it’s free!

Blogging is so hot right now.  Jump onboard and start earning money.
